In today’s life style symptoms of depression can be seen in about 8 people among 10. Whether it’s feeling of rejection or loosing someone we all starts blaming ourselves which start disturbing the piece of our mind. In facts it is not a age related disorder any more. Depression is related to mental illness. A person starts loosing hope and feel lonely. Depression is related to sadness. It can lead to a variety of emotional and physical problems. And can decrease a person’s ability to function at work and at home.

  • Feel of guilt.
  • Fatigue and tiredness.
  • Feeling of anxiety and emptiness.
  • Difficulty in making decisions.
  • Changes in appetite — weight loss or gain unrelated to dieting.

Treatment of Depresion

At early stages depression can be treated by your own by meditation. Mediation keep our mind relax and also calm our body. Physical exercises also help us to be fit or free from depression. Medical treatment which is given by doctors include antidepressants, counseling and psychotherapy.


Psychotherapy is basically a talk therapy. When a patient feels lonely and have no one to share his feeling a psychiatrist help him in this. These seating session also helps doctor to know more about patient’s behavior and thoughts. Depending on the therapy results the number of session depends.


Medication is an another way of treatment. It includes tranquilizers and antidepressants. When a patient do not sleep then these medicines are given to treat insomnia or the mood swings.
